    The Land Of Antarctica

    By CruiseDirector | February 9, 2010

As vicious as it is brutal, Antarctica is a unique gem.War has never touched this pristine continent, keeping it pure.Even though this continent is much larger than both Europe and American combined, less men have died to natural type causes due to the lack of germs, than they have died of violent deaths.

Today Antarctica is a place where people from various countries, and conflicting political views, can come together to work in harmony, warmth, and comfort, while outside the labs are temperatures of 100 degrees below which could kill them within seconds. The people of Antarctica house the biggest appetites, garnishing up to four whole meals in a single day without a single spec of weight gain. The cold eats the calories faster than any exercise or diet could ever possible do.

It is home to the “big eye,” a singular condition of mass insomnia caused by the perpetual daylight of summer where inhabitants cannot sleep in the full sunshine of 3:00 am. In spite of this, the Antarctica based ’300 Degree Club’ has given rise to great entertainment. It claims the least expensive and southernmost bar of the world located at the South Pole where all drinks cost a like amount, but where even so the bill for a single night can be a great amount. The nights are extremely long due to starting in April and staying that way until September.antarctica cruise deals

A shield of moving ice over 9000 feet long moves across the heartland. Ironically, this sheet of ice may have enough oil, coal, and gas to warm the world as a whole. What few laws there are in Antarctica, are definitely different – they don’t extradite criminals, and anyone who would consider hiding out in nine million square miles of open, broad valleys, or in 15,000 ft. ranges of mountains, would have a tough time staying alive more than a few hours in what is the most incredible vicious environment in the world.

Even though this continent has no laws, it has the lowest crime rate in the world. The perfect crime could take place in Antarctica. Just think about it, even if someone murdered someone else, he/she would never be prosecuted. And if someone DID commit a crime, with no extradition agreements or statutes, there would be no way to charge or prosecute them.exciting antarctica cruises

Even though the flags of 10 nation are planted in Antarctica, not a single one has tried to open up real estate there. While there has never been any serious attempts to set up a permanent colony on Antarctica, at the South Pole there is some of the most sophisticated computers and other scientific equipment available.

Even though most of the residents aren’t not permanent members of it’s society, they have the highest IQ in the world. This continent proudly boasts more degrees than high school diplomas. No greater amount of scientific cooperation can be found anywhere else in the world, and it houses the best minds on Earth. The detonation of nuclear warheads is expressly forbidden on the continent, which makes it the only land mass on the planet to specifically prohibit such activity.

As a matter of fact, no matter what continent you go to, you will not find environment laws as strict as they are in Antarctica.Animals that were once slaughtered by whale and seal hunters are now somewhat protected, as special licenses must now be obtained prior before hunting. Antarctica is home to the scientific motherlode: a strictly peaceful place to perform scientific research that benefits all of us.
