The temporary tattoo is a large fave among school age students. Many manufacturers have recognized this phenomena and have begun to market totally to kids. Barbie tattoos, Spongebob tattoos and a range of cartoon characters are finding themselves turning up in Valentine Day card sets, snack packs and of course in the traditional Cracker Jack box.
The more common temporary tattoo designs are still the butterfly tattoo, the dragon tattoo and the rose tattoo. This is reflected in the quantity of permanent ink found etched upon the skin. The tribal tattoo has surged in renown with more rock stars and actors sporting the once sacred designs. It can be something to be a bit wild with on a night out in town for a bridal party but without worrying about carrying onto the alter.
Temporary tattoos are also associated with henna. In India, a new bride is marked with acomplicated design of henna to signify her transition from single girl into married woman. The entire time the henna is on her body, she is excused from the household jobs. This period of rest may be considered by some to be a honeymoon.
Many corporations and online internet sites such as Tattoofun.com offer henna body kits as well as a huge variety of non-permanent tattoos. The prices are very fair and even custom tattoos can be designed, printed and shipped within avery short time.
The best advice anyone who has a permanent tattoo can offer is to try out a non-permanent tattoo before making the final call. Having a tattoo removed is a really unpleasant and expensive procedure. It is better to take a little time and be picky about the kind of art work going on the body. The transfer tattoo is a great method for this and the bright side is that it washes off with soap and water.
