Position around the mountains and the sea, Barcelona is 1 of the most exciting cities on the Western Mediterranean coast, a town with a zest for existence and artistic genius. Barcelona is the second Spanish place after its old rival, Madrid and the city of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia.
